Liisa Murray
Artistic Director / Choreographer / Dancer
Liisa Murray grew up dancing in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She moved to Karachi, Pakistan and began teaching and choreographing for younger students. Modern dance was introduced to Liisa by Sophie Gavard, her teacher in Zug, Switzerland, who encouraged her to pursue post secondary studies in dance. As a graduate of the York University Dance Program, Liisa has accumulated numerous interests such as performance, choreography, improvisation, lighting design, stage management, science, somatics, and history. As rad continues to grow, she hopes to delve deeper into these many interests.

Ivana Matovina
Choreographer / Dancer
Ivana Matovina is in her fourth year of the joint program between York University and The National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program. In recent years, she has performed with Sashar Zarif Dance Theatre and the York Dance Ensemble. Ivana hopes to further enhance her skills as a performer and choreographer with rad.

Laura Bolender
Choreographer / Dancer
Laura Bolender, a Toronto born artist, is an emerging dancer, choreographer and teacher with a deep interest in all art forms. She is currently pursuing a dance degree and community arts certificate at York University. Laura has trained with influential teachers such as Julia Sasso, Megan Andrews and Carol Anderson. With a passion to engage communities through the arts, she is beginning to develop dialogue around dance and facilitate AuthenticARTS workshops with a multi-disciplinary edge. Laura’s artistic interests are driven from above as she creates on the earth below. |

Zita Nyarady
Choreographer / Dancer
Zita Nyarady is a dancer, actor, and Masters student in Environmental Studies at York University. Hailing from Fredericton, New Brunswick she is now based in Toronto. Zita trained in the small but mighty theatre department at the University of New Brunswick, the PTP in Modern Dance at the School of Dance, and at the summer intensive at the Dell'arte International School of Physical Theatre. Upon arrival in Toronto, she is very pleased to work with rad. |

Julie Grant
Choreographer / Dancer
Julie Grant began her contemporary dance training at Etobicoke School of the Arts under the instruction of Colleen Freedman and Gabby Kamino. There, she was given the opportunity to work with many great artists such as Danny Grossman, Milton Myers and Trisha Armstrong. Inspired and excited, Julie came to York University and is working towards a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. Julie is honored to be under the tutelage of Carol Anderson, Julia Sasso and Jennifer Bolt as she approaches her graduation from York University.
